New Haven, Conn. – Stony Brook traveled to the Bulldog Invitational this past weekend where they competed against: Cornell, Dartmouth, and Harvard.
 
"We took a big step up in class over the weekend. Unfortunately, we did not achieve the results we were looking for. Across the board we need to work on staying in the points longer as well as taking control of the points sooner. It certainly provides us with some keys to focus on as we prepare for Regionals in two weeks," said head coach Gary Glassman.

Highlights: 

• Sophomore Devanshi Bhimjiyani and freshman Amanda Foo won 2 out of their three matches beating Cornell's Stevens and Dau 6-4 and Harvard's Thiel and Lu 6-1.  
• Sophomore Anne- Kathrin Hierl (Haan, Germany) beat Jasper of Harvard 2-6, 6-4, 10-6.
• Freshman Glauka Vincente (Benicassim, Spain) beat Thiel of Harvard 7-6, 4-6, 10-6.
