Football falls to UNH
The #Seawolves had an outstanding performance from running back James Kenner, who had a career-high 113 yards rushing, but Stony Brook was victimized by New Hampshire's Sean Goldrich-to-Justin Mello combination as the duo connected for three touchdowns in a 31-13 Wildcats victory. Stony Brook is now 3-4 overall, 1-3 in CAA Football and will play at nationally ranked Maine this Saturday in a game that will be televised on Fox College Sports.

Women's soccer crowned regular season champion
The #Seawolves were not going to be denied. Seven minutes away from having to settle for third place and an America East Championship quarterfinal match, Stony Brook struck on the road at Maine as Elise Pratt put home a header off a cross from Priscilla Wiggins to secure a 2-1 overtime win over the Black Bears. The victory catapulted the #Seawolves over Maine and into a tie with UMBC for the regular season championship, the program's first-ever first-place finish. UMBC held the tiebreaker, so Stony Brook will be the No. 2 seed and host an America East Championship semifinal against either No. 3 Maine or No. 6 Binghamton on Sunday, Nov. 3 at LaValle Stadium at 2 p.m.

Volleyball comes back to knock off UMBC
The #Seawolves are starting to roll and at the right time. Falling behind UMBC at home, 2-1, Stony Brook roared back with convincing fourth and fifth set wins over the Retrievers to snatch the 3-2 victory. Stony Brook is now 6-2 in America East and is tied with New Hampshire for first place. Read the recap of the winning result here and watch the reaction below. The #Seawolves will host Binghamton and Albany this weekend.
Cross Country ready to defend titles

Men's soccer blanked at home
Coming off a 3-0 win at Lehigh, the #Seawolves were looking to put together a winning streak, but they fell short against a stout Hartford defense in a 1-0 loss on Sunday. The #Seawolves now have just two matches remaining in the regular season and need a minimum of two points to contend for a berth into the America East Championship. Read the recap here and get ready for Saturday's home match vs. Vermont at 7 p.m.
