Murphy's dazzling debut, defense key No. 13/14 #Seawolves' blowout of Bucknell

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Freshman attacker Courtney Murphy turned in a phenomenal debut performance, tallying seven goals and one assist, as the No. 13/14 Stony Brook women's lacrosse team opened the 2014 season with an 18-1 rout of Bucknell Saturday at LaValle Stadium.

Murphy's seven goals and eight points were the most for a freshman in a debut in #Seawolves history. Her goal total put her in a tie with former America East Players of the Year Demmianne Cook, Claire Petersen and Kaitlin Leggio for most goals by a Seawolf in a single game.
